Value of discipline
The word Discipline comes from the word Disciple
meaning a learner. Discipline is the systematic way of
training people to act according to code of behavior or rules. There is value
of discipline in all walks of life. Whether at school or at home or at office
or any other, discipline is a necessity. Discipline gives an opportunity to learn
experience and grow. Without discipline, there will be chaos and disorder.
There will be no peace and progress. Success depends upon discipline.
Discipline is nothing but action according to rules. To be guided by rules, to
pay due regards to elders and superiors, to obey them and to behave in an
orderly manner, all these come under the term discipline. Discipline builds character,
strength and unity and fosters cooperation. So, discipline is needed everywhere. The most important rule of
discipline is obedience. Discipline
should never be overlooked, as it is the secret of success in life. Thus,
nobody can ignore the importance of discipline.
